Bangladesh Police will not go back, will move forward with the respect and love of the people. We pay our deepest respects to the martyred police personnel who sacrificed their lives to protect the people from the spread of the virus and extend our heartfelt condolences to their family members.  And reiterate our firm commitment to be with them in happiness and sorrow.

In Corona, most of the way the police served the people was not the job of the police.  But the police did it out of a sense of responsibility.

Madaripur Shibchar Upazila is the first corona infection lock down area in the country.  On March 06, 2020, the first person in the country to be infected with corona was identified in Madaripur.

Madaripur district is in the Dhaka division.  And this is the first epidemic in this district.  The severity of corona has spread to a large extent in Rajoir, Kalkini and Madaripur Sadar upazilas including Shibchar upazila of the district.  Of the 808 people infected with corona virus in the district, 244 are in Sadar upazila, 107 in Shibchar upazila, 219 in Rajoir upazila and 132 in Kalkini upazila.

So far 11 people have died due to corona.  Twelve people died of corona symptoms and more than 35 policemen were injured in Madaripur district.  About 21 people have returned to work after recovering.  There are 15 people in isolation.  Even after this, the members of Madaripur district police have not stopped. The Madaripur district police has been working as a friend of the people from the very beginning to prevent this epidemic and increase public awareness.

Besides, the police members provided overall relief to the helpless-poor unemployed, rickshaw-van drivers, economically backward people in every upazila of the district.  In addition, if the district police is contacted through a specific number through various information, the relief is delivered to their homes in the dark of night if necessary.  Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Mohammad Mahbub Hasan has been keeping in touch with the police members who are infected with the corona virus.
He also made the general public aware of the epidemic of corona virus by informing them about the epidemic and also told them to use masks and handsetizers.

He is providing the necessary fruits and medicines to increase their immunity.  He has taken another admirable role in medical services.  Considering the importance of corona-affected policemen working in the district police stations, treatment is being given at different places as per the need for better treatment.

The Police Lines in Service Training Center and Police Lines Government Primary School have been converted into Isolation Centers.  In the building of the Department of Youth Development in Madaripur.  Madaripur district superintendent of police Mohammad Mahbub Hasan said Madaripur district has been declared a red zone due to the increase in corona infestation.

Since then, the police members of Madaripur district have been working day and night in all the 5 police stations of 4 upazilas.  We are also attacking ourselves.  Even after that we don't stop, we don't have a chance to stop.  And we all have to actively participate in winning this war.  We are working through coordination by forming corona prevention committee at the union level of each upazila.

According to the district police, the government has decided to ensure safe and social distance for all the general public.  .

The quality of police service has gradually changed since he took over as the Superintendent of Police of Madaripur district.  There is no money to file GDs and lawsuits in the police stations.  Issuance and verification of police clearance certificate is being completed without any harassment.  The police superintendent of Madaripur district proved the absolute religion of the service people.

The goal of the police is to provide more public services by becoming a public representative and helping people from all walks of life to prevent the spread of corona virus.
