The famous lotus flower, the queen of Shravan, is on the verge of extinction in the face of modern civilization

The lotus flower was one of the well-known flowers of rural Bengal. From Shravan till the end of autumn, this collection of flowers could be seen in most of the water bodies of the village. As a result of continuous urbanization in the vicissitudes of modern civilization, the famous Padma flower, the queen of Shravan, is almost extinct. However, although there are lotus flowers in the ponds of some villages of the country, its form is not the same as before.
It is known that Padma was called the queen of aquatic flowers because of her impeccable beauty. Lotus flowers are usually white, pink or light pink in color. Many of the new generation misunderstand because of the similarities between red water lilies and lotus flowers. In Kashmir and Iran, blue lotus flowers are found which are called blue lotus or blue lotus. The lotus flowers bloom mainly in autumn but sometimes in the rainy season. The sound created by the torrential rain on the leaves of the lotus is a unique and rich source of nature. To protect oneself from the rain, one has to take shelter and cross the field with one's head like an umbrella. Many people also used to eat this lotus leaf. This lotus flower is used with devotion in the worship of the followers of traditional religion. There are many stories about the lotus pond.
