Lions Club International District 315 A2 Bangladesh has distributed relief materials among the flood victims in Tangail.

Lions Club of Tangail, Lions Club of Tangail Diamond, Lions Club of Tangail City and Lions Club International District 315 A2 Bangladesh distributed food among 500 distressed families of Shushua village in Bhunapur upazila of Tangail affected by the floods. The food items included rice, pulses, salt, potatoes, chira, sugar, chillies and biscuits. Region Chairperson Headquarters Lion SM Shariful Islam MJF was present as the chief guest. Also present on the occasion were Immediate President Lions Club of Tangail City Lion Mohammad Kamal Hossain, President Lions Club of Tangail Diamond Lion Shahanshah Siddiqui Mintu, Vice President Lions Club of Tangail Lion Engineer Md. Shahadat Hossain, Vice President Lions Club of Tangail Lemon Abdul Late Secretary Lions Club of Tangail Lion Md. Shafiqul Islam Dulal, Joint Secretary Lions Club of Tangail Lion Abdul Awal Khan Taposh, Lion Advocate Zahid, Leo Shuvro De Sarkar and other leaders of Leo Club of Tangail and dignitaries of the area. Later, a cash grant of Rs 20,000 was given to Shushua Hafizia Madrasa and Orphanage.
