Tangail road crash kills 5
Five people were killed in a road accident in Tangail on 28 March 2020.
Five people were killed and 11 others injured after a truck overturned at Kandila of Tangail sadar upazila early Saturday, reports UNB.
The identities of the deceased could not be known yet. UNB quoted Mostafizur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of sadar police station, to say that the accident took place around 5:00am.
The cement-laden Bogura-bound truck from Dhaka was carrying workers and passengers, the OC added. Five people were killed on the spot. The injured were taken to Tangail general hospital.
